When most people think of accessibility, the 1st things
that come to mind are ramps and curb cuts, but physical accessibility is just the tip of the iceberg. Many other aspects of
our situations and surroundings can hinder or facilitate our ability to achieve our objectives.
Have you ever been where it was too noisy, too dark, too crowded?
Or how about trying to get services in a place where people are too busy, forms were too difficult
or the organization was too confusing.
Maybe you didn't even
know a service existed or can't find a way to get there. All of these things
can make obtaining the goods and services you want a chore rather than a pleasure and convince you to take your business
elsewhere.
If you operate a business or a service and would like information or assistance in making your business or service
more accessible to persons with disabilities, please call Karl at (906) 635-5681 or e-mail him at karlmonroe@sault.com . If we can't help, we will find someone who can.
As a CARF accredited provider of services to persons with disabilities, Northern Transitions, Inc.

Not only that, it's just good
business.
